Left:  Football game programs from the 1930s and 1940s vs. teams such as Ohio State, Notre Dame, Minnesota and schools that no longer field teams: Chicago and Marquette.  Also pictured is a painting by A. Knudsen.  As you might see, the subject was inspired by the program cover from the 1942 game with the Fighting Irish.  The painting was completed sometime during this period.  Fatima cigarettes university tapestry, Game programs: Ohio State (1942), Minnesota (1932), Marquette (1934).

Right:  More programs including those from games with Notre Dame (1929 & 1935), Northwestern (1929), Iowa (1926), Minnesota (1921, 1926 & 1930).  Also pictured are basketball programs from Wisconsin's march to the 1941 national championship, including a program from the championship game vs. Washington State in Kansas City.  Other items:  1960s football road game jersey, 1970 team signed football, 1953 Rose Bowl team signed ball, 1953 newspaper poster of the 1953 Badger football squad.

Above: Dr. Walter Meanwell's Basketball Game (1946).  Walter Meanwell was, arguably, the first great college basketball coach.  His Wisconsin teams of the teens and 1920s won multiple Big Ten titles. Left: Football game programs:  1931 dual opponents Bradley University & North Dakota State, Illinois (1920, 1932), Minnesota (1928, 1938), Purdue (1939), Missouri (1942), Chicago (1936), Pittsburgh (1938).   Other items: 1953 freshmen sweater, 1929 UW Band photograph. Right: Pat O'Dea penned letter from February 1962, about 2 months before Pat passed away. Very interesting content as he refers to his 110 yard punt and 60 yard drop kick.  Other O'Dea items: Sheet music - Badger Hero: Pat O'Dea, 1934 Homecoming program honoring O'Dea, large Pat O'Dea photograph. Other items: Milt Bruhn 1962 Coach of the Year Award plaque from Coach and Athlete magazine.  Game programs:  Pennsylvania (1930), Haskell Indians (1916), South Dakota State (1916), Coe College (1932), Indiana (1941), Minnesota (1923, 1940), Michigan (1921), Purdue (1939), 1950s letter sweater.
